Mark is absolutely right, I forgot about that. I don't think we have PVRTC sRGB formats right now; is there a need for them?

The same thing does exist for ETC: WEBGL_compressed_texture_etc, which suports the ETC2 sRGB formats. Since these sRGB formats are a standard part of OpenGL ES 3.0, this should not be a surprise.
