Florian, by rendering multiple views into one framebuffer, do you mean more than 2 views?

I mean into a framebuffer object with an attached texture.

Typically in rendering you'd render a few things into ordinary framebuffers (such as shadow maps, GPGPU stuff, whatever), and some of the renders (such as stereo views) might be rendered to a framebuffer object to facilitate postprocessing of various kinds.

How do you select if a framebuffer is stereo or mono?
