[Public WebGL] Second WebGL Widget Contest up and running



NVIDIA has co-sponsored the Second WebGL Widget contest by contributing a new Shield Gaming Tablet as one of the prizes. This is in addition to two WebGL books Toni Parisi by sponsored by O’Reilly media; and the WebGL book by Sumeet Arora sponsored by Packt Publishing. Submit your best WebGL Widget by November 25 for a chance to win! We've recently increased the size limit from 30K to 200K. What can you create?

Important Dates:
	• Starts at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time PST on Tuesday, September 2, 2014
	• Ends at 5:00 p.m. PST on Tuesday, November 25, 2014
	• Winner will be notified on or before December 2, 2014

WebGL Web Widget Requirements:
	• The WebGL widget must use the WebGL API for its rendering.
	• The appearance of the winning WebGL widget must be such that it is suitable for promoting and marketing WebGL. It should look Cool! This is subjective and will be decided at the discretion of the Judges.
	• Must be original work and not contain any copyright material (You may use third-party libraries, however you must have the right to redistribute them, and the Khronos Group must be granted the same rights.)
	• Bonus points for interactivity: show off what WebGL can do!
	• The WebGL widget must be allowed to be presented on the Khronos website.
	• The widget must use the WebGL API for its rendering.
	• Should look good within a space of 200 x 200 pixels.
	• The WebGL widget must come in under 200K for both code and resources, gzip-compressed.
	• The WebGL widget must run on at least 8 WebGL implementations: 2 on each of Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android. Please test before you submit!
	• One entry per person (in the case of multiple entries, only the final one will be considered).
