Re: [Public WebGL] Re: [webgl-dev-list] uniform and attribute names

Thanks Boris - that indeed fixes it and sorry for using a non-standard IE-ism.

I've updated the JSfiddle:
  http://jsfiddle.net/HtYDQ/3/
and it works perfectly in Firefox.

Cheers,
Tom

Does anyone know why Firefox does not seem to run the example at all?

It runs the example.  But your logging function is like this:

      p.innerText = object.toString();

and "innerText" is not a standard property on HTML elements: it's an IE-ism that WebKit copied.  In particular, it's not supported in Gecko.  So that line does absolutely nothing useful in Gecko.

Try using:

    p.textContent = object.toString();

instead.  What I get then, on Mac, is:

  fragment shader compile status = true
  fragment shader info log =
  vertex shader compile status = true

  vertex shader info log =
  program link status = true
  program info log =
