Firefox <= 10 didn't actually guarantee that, but if we ever turned around and made it a requirement that getUniformLocation always returns the same object, then we would also specify that added attributes must be preserved.

My feeling is we should wait to see how much demand there is for that (lurkers on this list, speak up).
