There is no such way of triggering lost context events in Firefox. That would be nice to have, if only for tests.

The spec part of it is implemented, but not the actually useful part. The API is present, but WebGL lost context events never get generated, and isContextLost just returns false.

I don't know; none of the WebGL demos I remember studying did.
