[Public WebGL] Someone at Mozilla...HELP!

The latest nightly build of Firefox has a little notification thingy at
the bottom-left of the window that pops up when the client is
requesting/waiting for something from the server.

In a networked WebGL game that uses AJAX techniques to talk to the
server every second or so, this helpful little widget becomes an
insanely annoying flickering distraction.

Can someone here with influence at Mozilla get this "feature" killed?
Or at least have a solid way to disable it. Or maybe make it only come
on if the client has been waiting for much longer than a game/server
update cycle (10 seconds maybe).

If we're going to have interactive packages running in the browser, we
can't have any kind of background stuff like this updating the screen.
