I really just wanted to limit the risk that they would spend time figuring error in buggy tests.

We're passing most of them too, I think we pass roughly 99% overall (conformance+more) although we do have more than just one failing test. Of course, we do care about passing more/ although only conformance/ is currently part of our automated test system.
