That's right, it isn't implemented in WebKit yet.

What do you mean? Do you mean how to indicate that the given
application requires a particular WebGL extension? You should check
for the presence of the extension at run time and display an
informative error message to the user if your application absolutely
requires it and it isn't available. Ideally you would have a fallback
path in your application if the extension isn't available.
