Shreiner, Dave - Director, Graphics and GPU Computing, ARM
I'm an expert in computer graphics and GPU computing, particularly rendering using OpenGL and OpenGL ES. I'm also the co-author of "The OpenGL Programming Guide" (currently in its seventh edition; I've done the last five), "The OpenGL Reference Manual" (out of print, unfortunately), "The OpenGL ES Programming Guide" (first edition), and "Interactive Computer Graphics: A Top-Down Approach with Shader-Based OpenGL" (sixth edition). I am also the series editor for Pearson's OpenGL professional library.
I have also presented various courses on OpenGL and OpenGL ES at conferences worldwide, including 13 SIGGRAPH conferences (16 if you include SIGGRAPH Asia), and authored the first commercial OpenGL course for Silicon Graphics Computer Systems (SGI - the creators of OpenGL).
Additionally, I've also volunteered for ACM/SIGGRAPH for many years, and was recently selected to be the conference chair of the 2014 SIGGRAPH conference to be held in Vancouver, B.C.
