Commentary like "fix the formatting" does not mean "delete the page." It means "fix the formatting." Simply removing the tutorial because people (rightfully) think that it needs some work is not acceptable. Please don't do this again. Fortunately, this is MediaWiki, where such things can be recovered. [[User:Alfonse|Alfonse]] 17:47, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

: I only ask that you give constructive criticism or fix the problem instead of merely complaining. I'm not going to devote hours of my time trying to help people like myself looking for answers if that's the case. [[User:JasonBorden|JasonBorden]]
:: Wikipedia is the general standard that I go by in terms of editing and commentary. Wikipedia has many templates that are basically, "This is what's wrong with this page. Feel free to fix it." My MediaWiki template skills aren't sufficient to replicate these templates (yet), so I resorted to using the discussion page.
:: Remember, this is a Wiki. That means anybody can edit any page on it. Articles that have been flagged with "mere complaints" are more likely to be fixed by someone than articles that are not so flagged. The attitude that people are not allowed to post certain remarks about your page lest you stop contributing is decidedly immature. We all want to improve the OpenGL Wiki, and marking pages that ''need'' improvement is the only way that's going to happen.
:: One final note. When having a talk-based discussion on a wiki, always end with <nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>. It adds your username and date as a signature.
