Mipmaps will necessarily add the footprint of memory which is more scarce resource against the processors. Is it possible that the required mipmap levels are generated immediately in view of increasing GPU computing power? --Lucmaa (talk) 09:26, 11 December 2019 (UTC)

I'm not sure what this has to do with the page in question. If you have improvements or concerns about the page, you can discuss them here. But this seems more of a question about when it is economical to use mipmaps (memory vs. performance tradeoffs or somesuch), which is more of a discussion thing than a question or comment about the Wiki article itself. Also, note that the page this Talk page is attached to is a redirect; there is no page titled Mipmap. It goes to a subsection of another page. You shouldn't make talk pages for redirects like this.
