Rephrasing the opening sentence

"Vertex Processing is the stage of the OpenGL rendering pipeline where a sequence of vertices are processed via a series of Shaders." I think it would make more sense if the above sentence was rephrased to, "Vertex Processing can be considered as a collection of stages within the OpenGL rendering pipeline where a sequence of vertices are processed via a series of vertex processing Shader stages.
