The Khronos Milano Chapter is thrilled to renew the collaboration with Autodesk for the upcoming Design Week in Milan, Italy - April 4-9. Khronos Milano Chapter is thrilled to announce that for the January 25th event, Marco Trivellato, lead engineer at Unity Technologies, and contributor in the WebGL Working Group, will fly from London to present Unity WebGL. The Khronos Brisbane Chapter this time around will have distinguished speaker Dr Josh Bowden from CSIRO, talking about developing OpenCL applications for High Performance Computing, as a package in R, and Daniel Filonik who will talk about his DataChopin novel interface for collaborative visualisation. ARM is hosting the meet up for the day, and also inviting attendees to join them for a drink after at the Cambridge Beer Festival! In this full-day of technical sessions the meet up aim to provide 3D developers like yourself with everything you need to come up to speed on Vulkan and to forge ahead and explore how to use Vulkan in your engine or application.

The Silicon Valley WebGL Meetup group invites you to the San Jose Convention Center as part of the GTC lineup of over 500 sessions on April 6th 2016. An impressive speaker line-up including Isaac Cohen, Brandon Jones (Google), Tony Parisi (International Man of Mystery) and Jaume Sánchez (theSpite).
The Khronos Group will be hosting a series of sessions again this year at Green Space in San Francisco. Lined up this year on March 16th will be sessions on WebGL, glTF, Chapters and Vulkan. A Khronos Social for developers to meet and chat with the developers that create some of the Khronos APIs will wrap up the day. Starting the day will be the now famous JPR Press Briefing on the Gaming Market. Complete details and registration for the Khronos sessions are available online. At the end of January, Joe Davis was at the ISART Digital in Paris to join a panel discussion titled New Graphics APIs discussion panel at the dawn of Vulkan. The meeting was organized and chaired by Christophe Riccio from Unity and Chapter Leader for Paris, and focused on the Khronos Group’s new Vulkan graphics and compute API.
