The best paper award among all papers presented at the ICCE Asia 2017 conference, went to the paper titled “Novel OpenVX Implementation for Heterogeneous Multi-Core Systems” (PDF), by Kedar Chitnis, Jesse Villarreal, Jr, Brijesh Jadav, Mihir N Mody, Lucas Weaver, Victor Cheng, Kumar Desappan, Anshu Jain and Pramod Swami.

Everest Panorama has become the first WebGL project ever to win a prestigious Red Dot Design Award. Red Dot Design Award dates back to the year 1955. It is granted by the European institution Design Zentrum for outstanding achievements in the field of industrial design. The best works are showcased in the Red Dot Museum in Essen, Germany. The Everest Panorama project is a unique fusion of modern web technologies that seamlessly blends multimedia features with 3D environment, Yandex.Maps (a Google Maps equivalent) and panoramic pictures. It tells a story of an exhausting, yet fascinating journey of a group of mountain climbers to the summit of Mount Everest.

After winning the Silver Medal for the TenLinks Best of Show for Autodesk University 2014, CL3VER has now won the Architosh “Best of SHOW” award at AIA Atlanta 2015. This confirms CL3VER as a key and emerging technology that will have a large impact on architectural practice and AEC workflows. In the words of the prize jury “CL3VER was really the application that encapsulated this pivot point of things to come: A very disruptive platform leveraging ubiquitous HTML5 and WebGL through a very seamless web UI…” Congratulations CL3VER!

OpenCL was featured in the 2014 HPCwire 5 Editors’ choice awards for new products or technologies to watch. The awards were announced at this year’s Supercomputing 2014 held in New Orleans.
The Khronos Groups OpenCL API was awarded Editor’s Choice Award this week, by HPCwire, at SC09. Every year at the Supercomputing Conference, HPCwire announces their Annual Readers and Editors Choice Awards. Hosted in Portland, Oregon in its 21st year, SC is recognized as the premier international conference on High Performance Computing (HPC), networking, storage and analysis.
