OpenVX 1.2 was released in May 2017. Presented by key members of the openVX working group, this webinar will present an overview of this standard for vision processing and neural networks inference and highlight what is new in version 1.2.

Radhakrishna (Radha) Giduthuri is a software architect at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) focusing on development of computer vision and neural network acceleration libraries for AMD GPUs. He has extensive background with software design and performance tuning for various computer architectures ranging from General Purpose DSPs, Customizable DSPs, Media Processors, Heterogeneous Processors, GPUs, and several CPUs. He is a member of Khronos OpenVX and NNEF working groups, and editor of OpenVX safety-critical specification. For several years, he was a member of SMPTE video compression standardizing committee. He is an active member of IEEE Signal Processing Society and winner of outstanding leadership and professional services award for IEEE Central Area in 2016. Radhakrishna holds M.Tech. degree from IIT Kharagpur, India.

We use the GoToWebinar platform to deliver webinar content. When you register, you will be sent an email with the URL to attend the webinar. You can use your computer’s audio, or you can call in with a phone if you prefer.
By default, the platform will ask you to download an app, which will work on Windows and Mac computers. However, you can easily join a webinar without downloading anything by using your web browser. To do this, open the Confirmation email that was sent to you when you registered for the webinar. This email includes a unique Join URL that you can open in any web browser to automatically join the session.
