Khronos OpenVX Tutorial

Embedded Vision Summit May 4, 2016: Khronos OpenVX Tutorial - This course covers both the function-based API and the graph API that enable OpenVX developers to efficiently run computer vision algorithms on heterogeneous computing architectures. A section explains the tutorial exercises with a VirtualBox VM. Embedded Vision Summit schedule is below, the tutorial is on Github and the associated videos from the day long tutorial are available on Youtube.

Workshop: Accelerate Your Vision Applications with OpenVX

Take a deep dive into the OpenVX cross-platform, open standard for power-efficient vision acceleration. The workshop begins with an overview of the vision acceleration API landscape and illustrates the unique industry needs and requirements that OpenVX fulfills. Attendees will receive an in-depth tutorial on the architecture of OpenVX and how to apply it to their applications. The lectures are followed by a hands-on lab where attendees are invited to bring their own laptops to try out real-world examples of OpenVX acceleration. The day concludes with an overview of the vendors that are making OpenVX available for developers to use – and up-to-the minute information on how attendees can deploy OpenVX in their own applications and products.
