Khronos Group announces Siggraph 2008 BOF time slots

The Khronos Group has announced the place and time of their three BOF's at Siggraph 2008 Los Angeles Convention Center. A notable addition to this update show a time and date has been set for the OpenGL BOF, on August 13th at the Wilshire Grand Hotel. SGI OpenGL Programming Class posted

SGI has posted three new OpenGL course for the 2008 year. The OpenGL Programming course helps applications programmers master platform-independent graphics programming using OpenGL. Students learn to view and model in 3D, and to create animated, wire frame and solid geometry, under interactive control from input devices. Students add lighting, textures, and other effects to increase realism.

OpenSceneGraph announces new training courses in Washing ton DC

OpenSceneGraph recently announced a new training course to be held in Washington DC. This training event is co-instructed by Bob Kuehne (Blue Newt Software) and Paul Martz (Skew Matrix Software). The training will be held in the heart of Washington DC with easy train, metro, and parking, all near the location. OSG Community has announced two OpenSceneGraph courses from Blue Newt and Skew Matrix. These course being offereing in the US and Rome aim to provide students with a sweeping survey of OpenSceneGraph and its internals.
