collada zae and other compression methods

The 1.5 spec says that the zip archive can contain other formats like rar. Would higher compression methods like bzip2 or lzma be allowed at any point in time? They can reduce the file size significantly.

    thanks,

The spec means that the .zae archive can contain whatever embedded archives you want (if any). It's up to your software to handle it. Choose popular archive formats if you want your content to be portable and accessible vs proprietary.
