I'd like to know if anyone had a previous experience with OpenML + OpenGL wrapped by QT. Are there any issues? Any "don't even try it"?
I found an extensive doc regarding OpenGL and QT on digitalfanatics.org (aka the Independent QT tutorial) and I was wondering which guidelines to adopt in the case of OpenML. Thanks.
I haven't actually tried, so perhaps there are issues I'm not considering, but in theory OpenML should be independent of your choice of UI toolkit. Unlike OpenGL, which interacts with the display (and thus may interfere with a UI toolkit), ML deals with video I/O devices and memory buffers -- and this should not affect the display.
(Note that I'm referring to the ML part of OpenML here, which is probably what you are considering, and not MLDC).
