View Full Version : Chrome rendering

I've a problem while rendering on Chrome nightly, it seems to work fine webgl, but nothing appears if the canvas size is not a power of 2 square, like 512x512 or 1024x1024. The framerate counter is working and no error is detected, while in Minefield the same code works perfectly (despite the slow framerate). I'm using my dell Inspiron with ATI radeon mobility x1400. Chrome works much better than minefield but I've to use a square canvas in my laptop, while in other works fine. Do you think should be considered as a bug? :|

Maybe your hardware does not support non-power-of-2 textures? I have no problems on my Geforce 9800 GT.

I don't think so, because the same scene work fine on Minefield but is so slow... :?

If it's really slow in Minefield, it might have silently failed over to using software (MESA) rendering. Do you know if your graphics card supports OpenGL 2.0?

OpenGL: Core: 2.1 - GLSL: 1.20
Tested with GPU Caps Viewer.
I've already tested MESA renderer and it's more slower than actual configuration.
