A research institute predicted that the wearable device market will reach US$20.6 billion in 2018, with worldwide shipments totaling 191 million units. As to China, wearable device is expected to reach 40 million sales volume and CNY11.49 billion (US$1.9 billion) market scale in 2015. Flexible electronics plays a key role in the wearable industry chain. The global flexible display application market will reach US$3,298 million by 2017 at an estimated CAGR of 45.1% from 2012 to 2017. US lead the overall flexible display market. Europe, APAC, and Rest of the world follow it.
