If you are a developer making engines or importers, viewers, or other tools that work with 3D graphics, then you need to be looking at glTF — the GL Transmission Format from Khronos. Quickly becoming a key industry standard, glTF simplifies data portability, keeping all the 3D assets in a single compact file. This webinar will also be helpful to 3D graphics creators who want a better understanding of what is involved when files are exported or translated.
Attend this webinar to learn the basic concepts of glTF with a demonstration of key points. This 1-hour session includes time for the presenter and some of the key shapers of the format to answer your questions.
This webinar will cover:
An introduction to glTf, including the motivation for creating it and an overview of what it accomplishes
How glTF interacts with Khronos APIs
Libraries and applications that use glTF
Many references to online sources for tools and information about glTF
A look at the structure of a glTF file and what it includes
