Conceptually, Vulkan Profiles can be understood as the explicit expression and formalisation of Vulkan capabilities requirements and can provide clear communication of these requirements within the Vulkan community.
To help Vulkan developers to use profiles, LunarG created the Vulkan Profiles Toolset solution shipping as part of the Vulkan SDK. These tools allow creating Vulkan Profiles, simulating Vulkan Profiles on the Vulkan developer machine, and provide an API to use Vulkan Profiles within Vulkan application code, etc.
In this webinar, we will present the different components of this toolset including a tutorial with coding examples.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the session.
Christophe Riccio is a Senior Graphics Software Engineer at LunarG working on the Vulkan Profiles Toolset solution and Vulkan Configurator. He has been a member of the Khronos community since 2005, working on multiple open source projects. He previously worked on GPU architecture research and graphics on a cross-platform engine.
