OpenGL has been dominant for more than 20 years, but engineering environments are changing and there are increased demands for new technologies. The next generation of graphics library must include the latest in graphics technology as well as effective processing capabilities that will provide for better user experience and device performance. In this session, we will discuss a new graphics library, its benefits and how you can get started using it. This is a beginner session. Using the Next Generation Graphics Library in Unreal Engine

In the “What’s after OpenGL?” session, you learned about the next generation graphics library. Now it’s time to put your newfound knowledge to use. You could work with native code, but it is far easier for you to use the new graphics library with Unreal Engine. Samsung and EPIC have collaborated on this implementation and this session will provide you with the practical knowledge and experience you need to work effectively.
