Taking place October 19-21, 2017 at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Canada, Immersed features a who's who line-up of speakers from Intel, HP, Nvidia, The Khronos Group, Google, IBM, Lytro, FORREC, Groupe Média TFO, Space Channel, Tom's Hardware and many more.
Event features include technical training for developers, valuable market insights, a networking reception, meals, and a private business to business exhibition and networking hall. Keynote speakers include Frank Soqui, 35-year company veteran and General Manager of VR for Intel, Buzz Hays, immersive film legend and Head of Product for Lytro, and David Parker, a technology consultant whose volunteer work with the terminally ill and virtual reality at Toronto's Mt. Sinai Hospital has changed lives and earned national press. Recent additions include Tricia Dugan, Vice President and Head of Global GTM and Immersive Computing at HP, and visual effects wizard Habib Zargarpour who most recently worked on Blade Runner 2049.
In addition to entertainment, this year's focus is on the viable use of immersive technology in healthcare, marketing, education, and consumer experience design. Immersed exemplifies what is being achieved today as much as what will be possible five years from now.
Neil Trevett, President of The Khronos Group, will be one of the headline speakers for the upcoming Immersed 2017 conference running October 19-21, 2017 at the Ontario Science Centre.
