Session Schedule

VP of Platform Technology, WEVR

Tony Parisi, Third Eye Room: TBD | Time: TBD

WebGL, the hardware-accelerated 3D graphics API for HTML5 applications, is now ubiquitous, running on all browsers and platforms from desktop to mobile. So what's next? This entry-level session covers the latest developments, including WebGL 2, the next major upgrade which already runs in Firefox and is coming later this year to Chrome. The session also takes a look at two related developments: glTF, the emerging standard for downloading 3D graphics into WebGL-based applications, and WebVR, the experimental JavaScript API for developing browser-based virtual reality. Join 3D graphics pioneer, author and WebGL developer Tony Parisi in an exploration of all things 3D for the web.

Getting started with 3D Web

Stephen Preston, Autodesk, Inc. Room: TBD | Time: TBD

Enhancing your website with stunning 3D content is a lot easier than you think. Join us for an introductory tour of the most popular, simple to use publishing tools for adding 3D to your website. You don’t need to be a JavaScript or WebGL guru – the tools we’ll show you require (virtually) no coding to use. And because every modern web browser now supports WebGL natively, your 3D content just works – no need to download any annoying plugins.
