Following our successful participation at SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 in Seoul Korea, the Khronos Group is excited to demonstrate and educate about Khronos APIs at CGDC 2012 in Shanghai China.
Khronos Group are proud to be a Gold Sponsors of the China Game Developers Conference (CGDC), a technology exchange event specialized in game development technology. Held in Shanghai each year, CGDC is open during the same period as theChinaJoy exhibition. More than 4,000 visitors and over a hundred guests are invited each year to give technology seminars and share the latest technology.
With a background of promoting technology exchange between China and abroad and of encouraging the development of Chinese original games, China Game Developers Conference (CGDC) came into being and has been held for four years. CGDC covers various aspects of game industry according to the actual needs of technology exchange, such as the development of massively multiplayer online games, mobile games, social games, browser games, future game technology and etc. Game programming technology involves eight categories: marketing plan, fine arts, procedures, operations, sound effect, management, security and testing.
CGDC aims at promoting game development technology exchange and cooperation in a global range; offering a platform to exchange experience, share latest technology achievements and explore future technology trends, thus to enhance the management level of China's domestic game development and serve the group of game product development and technical management and operation in terms of development experience exchange, technology innovation and application.
CGDC’s 5th anniversary comes in 2012 when more world-renowned speakers related to the most advanced technology are invited to CGDC’s special meetings and summits. With high spirit of sharing, CGDC 2012 will truly become the highest-level and most authoritative distinguished gathering for game developers.
