The Khronos Group - Connecting Software to Silicon

The Khronos Group is a not for profit industry consortium creating open standards for the authoring and acceleration of parallel computing, graphics, dynamic media, computer vision and sensor processing on a wide variety of platforms and devices. All Khronos members are able to contribute to the development of Khronos API specifications, are empowered to vote at various stages before public deployment, and are able to accelerate the delivery of their cutting-edge 3D platforms and applications through early access to specification drafts and conformance tests.

COLLADA Work Group letter updates community on progress

The COLLADA working group would like to share their progress since the March GDC meet-up on making COLLADA robust for the community. As requested by many community members, the COLLADA Conformance Test Suite (CTS) will be open sourced. Also, the OpenCOLLADA project will receive catalyst funding from Khronos to fix outstanding bugs and commence the integration of OpenCOLLADA into the open source test suite. Both the COLLADA CTS and OpenCOLLADA will be moving to Github. The COLLADA work group invites you to sign-up on the COLLADA public mailing list, and give your feedback.
