Khronos Member Hybrid Graphics Delivers World’s First Fully-Conformant OpenGL ES API 
Software Implementation

February 17 2004 – 3GSM CONGRESS & EXHIBITION, Cannes France:  The Khronos Group is pleased to announce that Hybrid’s OpenGL ES API implementation has entered into and fully passed the required conformance tests.  Hybrid’s solution is the first OpenGL ES API software implementation to pass the OpenGL ES conformance tests.  As a member of Khronos, Hybrid has been an active participant in forming the OpenGL ES API standard.  Hybrid’s implementation has also been licensed by the Khronos Group as a part of the official Open GL ES Adopter’s Pack and will be a part of the package received by every company adopting OpenGL ES.

About Hybrid OpenGL® ES API Framework
The Hybrid OpenGL® ES API Framework brings 3D graphics core technology into mobile phones and embedded devices. The customers are device manufacturers and embedded platform vendors. OpenGL® ES 1.0 Adopter’s Package and Conformance Testing Program
Khronos is now accepting OpenGL ES Adopting Members.  The Adopter’s Package contains software and documentation intended to drive rapid evaluation, deployment and acceptance of the OpenGL ES API in embedded markets requiring state-of-the-art 3D graphics: official Conformance Tests for the OpenGL ES 1.0 API; an open source sample implementation of the OpenGL ES API created as a wrapper over a desktop implementation on Windows® and Linux® OS; and an executable copy of Hybrid Graphics’ OpenGL ES library for Windows.
