The Khronos Group is a not for profit industry consortium creating open standards for the authoring and acceleration of parallel computing, graphics, dynamic media, computer vision and sensor processing on a wide variety of platforms and devices. All Khronos members are able to contribute to the development of Khronos API specifications, are empowered to vote at various stages before public deployment, and are able to accelerate the delivery of their cutting-edge 3D platforms and applications through early access to specification drafts and conformance tests.

ArcSoft solution offers an OpenMAX IL interface in NXP’s Nexperia cellular 5210 family

ArcSoft, Inc. recently announced that ArcSoft TotalMedia(TM) Mobile multimedia software applications have been integrated in NXP's Nexperia cellular system solution 5210 family for 2.5G/2.75G cellular feature phones. The ArcSoft TotalMedia(TM) Mobile software applications are pre-integrated in the 5210 family. Providing an OpenMax IL interface, the ArcSoft solution includes a media organizer, photo album and viewer, camera and camcorder, photo and video editor, and streaming-capable multimedia player.
