The Khronos Group - Media Authoring and Acceleration

The Khronos Group is a not for profit industry consortium creating open standards for the authoring and acceleration of parallel computing, graphics and dynamic media on a wide variety of platforms and devices. All Khronos members are able to contribute to the development of Khronos API specifications, are empowered to vote at various stages before public deployment, and are able to accelerate the delivery of their cutting-edge 3D platforms and applications through early access to specification drafts and conformance tests.

ARM Techcon3 expands its conference offering to focus on three key challenges of ARM development - MCU & Tools, Internet Everywhere and Energy Efficiency & Design. Brian Fuller, current editor of the industry blog Greeley's Ghost' and former editor-in-chief for EE Times, John Donovan former editor-in-chief of Portable Design and Tom Starnes, formerly with Gartner Group, serve as this year's Conference Technical Chairs and brings over 50 years of combined industry knowledge to ARM Techcon3 2009.

ARM TechCon3 will provide tutorials and presentations on the latest trends, design strategies, tools, and in-depth knowledge about achieving the highest level of market differentiation in ARM technology-based products. The event will also provide a variety of workshops, panel discussions, demonstrations and exhibitions to fully immerse the attendee in strategies for designing with the ARM architecture.
