What's this session about?

The Web3D Tech Talk will motivate you to start developing with the latest X3D tools, plug-ins and browsers so that you can quickly and easily realize your 3D content in an internet or web environment. This 60 minute session is a condensed version of our longer two hour "Web3D Tech Talk" session where attendees will get an update on the very latest projects, products and new development tools built on the ISO X3D suite of standards.

Who should attend this session?

This session is geared toward all working professionals needing web presentation and interactivity for their 3D projects using an open international standard; We will also show products that take advantage of both OpenGL and COLLADA technologies.

Who is speaking and on what topic?

Alan Hudson, Web3D President, will discuss various member activities including conformance testing, including his work on networked collaboration using X3D and introduce Franck Kolb of EDF who will discuss his work on point sprites. Also expect to hear Dr. Michael Aratow of the X3D MedWG discuss the new MedX3D taxonomy and browser project; Tony Parisi of Media Machines and Peter Schickel (Web3D co-vice presidents) will also speak on their companies new X3D products.
