ARM announces Mali-T658 to support OpenCL, OpenGLES and OpenVG
ARM announced the ARM Mali-T658 GPU, the latest member of the Midgard architecture-based GPU family targeting high performance devices, such as superphones, tablets and smart-TVs. The ARM Mali-T658 GPU supports a wide range of graphics and compute APIs, including OpenGL ES, OpenVG, OpenCL, Google Renderscript, Microsoft DirectX11 and Microsoft DirectCompute.

Khronos has posted slide presentations from GDC 2011 online. Included in the DevU presentations are COLLADA, Mobile, OpenCL, OpenVG and WebGL.

Altia Inc a provider of HMI engineering tools for embedded systems released Altia Design 9.2 DeepScreen 6.0 with support for OpenGL ES 2.0 and OpenVG. Crank Software’s Storyboard Suite 1.2 now supports OpenGL ES and OpenVG

Significant updates include added support for OpenGL ES and OpenVG and a Mac OS X version. Khronos Seoul DevU presentation slides now available online
The Khronos Group just wrapped up another DevU, this time in Seoul. Presentations slides from all the sessions are now online. Some of the Khronos APIs covered at this DevU were OpenGL ES, OpenCL, OpenGL, OpenGL SC, OpenVG and OpenMAX and OpenSL ES by AMD, ARM, DMP, DrawElements, HUONE, NVIDIA, Rightware and Samsung and Takumi. Khronos Group prepares for SIGGRAPH ASIA 2010 DevU
The Khronos Group is hosting a Khronos Developer University co-located with SIGGRAPH Asia. Numerous Khronos members have joined together with each member taking a demonstration suite to create a large number of exciting demos in the Khronos Pavilion on the SIGGRAPH trade show floor. ARM has announced the ARM® Mali™-300 graphics processing unit (GPU), supporting OpenGL® ES 2.0 and bringing High Definition (HD) graphics performance to entry-level and mid-range consumer devices.The Mali-300 GPU offers support for the Khronos industry standards OpenVG™ 1.1, and OpenGL® ES 1.1/2.0, in common with other ARM Mali GPUs.
