I have always wanted to be able to render a Linux desktop in a browser, and after some digging around and some investigation I *think* it might be possible to do.
Here's how I think the idea would work,
XServer acting as some form of (web)server, pushing it's output so that a browser with WebGL can connect and render the servers output. Like a dynamically updated page, but with a desktop instead.
I know this is massively oversimplified, but would this idea work in the way I think it would?
There are some things that would need to be addressed, like window sizes to supposed desktop resolution and stuff like that.
Would be awesome to type a domain name or IP and be able to access your desktop from wherever you are without additional software or proprietary plugins
