Is it OpenCL properly installed in my PC?

Probably it is the stupid question of the mounth, but....

┐how can I know if OpenCL is properly installed in my PC?

I have linuxmint 64, and I have installed the OpenCL libraries. There aren't messages of errors and nothing like that.

But, when I want to use any software that uses OpenCL capabilities, like LuxRender or Cycles (both of them under Blender) I get errors.

I would like if there are any test to confirm that I have OpenCL working fine or similar (something like glxgears)

On the other hand, could be the graphic card? NVIDIA 6600 GT

    Thank you

I believe NVIDIA only added OpenCL/CUDA support from 8-series cards onwards, so your GPU would not support OpenCL.
