OpenKODE Core with Open C - Developers wanted!

    Hi all,

I am currently developing an OpenKODE Core implementation for Symbian using Symbian C++ and Open C.

The current alpha implementation works fine but for the details I need help.

    Who is willing to contribute?

    FreeKODE

    Hi McNopper

How far are you into the Symbian implementation?

I'm part of team working a project that attempts to provide free and open source OpenKODE implementations. We are currently working on implementations for Windows, Windows Mobile, MacOS-X and Linux. You can check out our progress so far at:
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/freekode

We are looking to expand FreeKODE to support other platforms, would you be interested in joining the project?
Feel free to contact me if you need more information.

I would like to extend this invitation to other developers that might be interested in contributing to the project.

    Thinking about it ...

    Hello Diogo,

I decided not to continue my OpenKODE implementation for Symbian, because companies are currently announcing OpenKODE implementations (e.g. Acrodea, NVIDIA, Ideaworks 3D ...). I expect, there will be no need of my implementation in the future.

The current drop works with S60 phones but it depends on the old, provisional specificiation of OpenKODE. If you want, you can use this code for your implementation.

If you have questions, please drop me a line.

    Regards Norbert
