    OpenGL ES 1.0 common-lite profile support floating point ?

    hi all:
    does the OpenGL ES 1.0 common-lite profile support floating point data type?(vertex coordinate , normal vector.....etc ) or just fixed-point?

    i am confuse when read OpenGL ES spec.

    The common-lite profile does not include support for floating point vertex data.

    so, a common-lite profile render does not need support floating point data? right? only fixed-point data can 'feed' into a common-lite profile render??
