Honestly, I must be the stupidest person alive

I cannot figure out for the life of me the syntax of the devices for the sample program.

What in this output am I actually supposed to put after the -d?

    DEVICE: WAVE audio device
    parent: THE_PENGUIN
    index: 0
    version: 1
    location: Wave_0
    jacks: input,
    output
    paths: input,
    output

I checked around in the source, the headers, the FAQ, the messageboard, etcetera. Can't find it.

The name of this device would be "WAVE audio device"

That is what you would use after the -d argument to (most of) the sample programs.

    For instance:
% memtoaudio -d "WAVE audio device"

Thanks. I realize that was a rather stupid question but hey! Now hopefully everyone else will see it on the forum and never have to ask it again.
