    video

my project with openGL has reach the point where I need to render video files (avi, mpeg, mov etc) onto the surfaces of an object. I'd also downloaded the openML SDK, and am requesting for a quickStart quide or example as to how I can get at least a static video file (ie residing in my harddrive, live or streaming is the desired) onto the surface of a cube as an example.

    thanks.

NeHe has a good article for playing the AVI files in OpenGL .see the lesson 35-Playing AVI Files In OpenGL-of the NeHe articles: NeHe.gamedev.net.

Yes, I had used that lesson35 before, but it has nothing to do with openML's API.
I hope someone has done it before.

    thanks anyway.
