    OpenML vs OpenCV

I'd like know what would be the benefits
of using OpenML instead of OpenCV (cvcam) for
video capturing. Is there essential speed
difference? Can I adjust all firewire camera
    parameters via OpenML?

I'm about to build realtime optical tracker
for 3d marker detection using multiple cameras.

    Re: OpenML vs OpenCV

I've just taken a quick look at OpenCV, and it seems to me that it is focused on image processing -- not on image acquisition. If this is the case, you could use OpenML to capture your video, and feed that to OpenCV to process it.

The caveat, as always, is that you need a video capture board that supports OpenML (i.e., for which the vendor provides an OpenML module).
