  1. Re: OpenGL OpenCL Interoperatibility not Working Debian Linu

If there is no way to update drivers from Debian, you should manually install these newer drivers :

  2. Re: OpenGL OpenCL Interoperatibility not Working Debian Linu

    Try :

    Re: Dynamic OpenGl Texture

Do you works with a loop in that way :

    - OpenCL acquire shared objects
    - OpenCL works
    - OpenCL release shared objects
    - Wait OpenCL finish all commands
    - OpenGL works
    - Wait OpenGL finish all...

You just don't have to think about it, it's automatic ;)

When you call clGetPlatformIds, you get all the ICD compliant platforms, because OpenCL.so/dll is a small piece of code (writen by I guess,...

    Re: Image functions

CL_FLOAT is used on the program side, whereas CLK_FLOAT is used in kernels.
Specs doesn't no say how they compare. So I guess they should dot be said as equals.

    Re: Printf within a Kernel

With a native kernel, you can.
it's a real c function executed on device that can run a native kernel (I guess only CPU).

    Re: clGetEventProfilingInfo error

Has your command queue been created with profiling support?
Furthermore I guess you should wait command processing end before querying end time.

If you have an opencl card, just install latest nVidia driver.
I guess you'll have to manual install them (from nVidia drivers page) because ubuntu does'nt provide recent enough drivers.

    Re: Release cl::Context

I hope the c++ binding will release your context in the context class destructor.
  16. Re: Is it possible to create context from multiple platforms

A context is linked to only one platform, and command queue must be linked to one (and only one) device.

  19. Re: Trying to understand OpenCL Vs OpenCL on Cuda Architectu

Opencl "cuda" platform is the OpenCL nVidia implementation. It's just a normal OpenCL implementation, which, perhaps, use internally some cuda code.
