    OpenKODE with OpenGL ES 2.0

Does OpenKODE work with OpenGL ES 2.0 and the latest EGL, which seems like version 1.4?

I see a number of references to OpenGL ES 1.1 and EGL 1.3.
Is OpenKODE still active or is it in a dormant...
  2. Re: Need help to start learning OpenCL on my laptop

Any moderate notebook pc would be fine, as long as its supports OpenGL, and they pretty much all do. I would customize with the best graphics card you can afford.

    I recommend "OpenCL in Action"...

    Info on clCreateFromGLRenderbuffer

    Greetings,

I am experimenting with OpenCL, learning about rendering a texture. In OpenCL in Action, pg. 327 describes clCreateFromGLRenderbuffer. My code compiles it, but I get a run-time error:...

    Re: Vague Warnings

I've not seen those errors either, perhaps because I am using Firefox, not Chrome. First check would be to validate that the texture image dimensions are powers of 2.

I would also see what errors...

Re: Help with editing existing code

I'm guessing here, but I think due to the nature of WebGL and security issues, it won't allow the .htm file to come from one directory, and any other files to come from a different directory.

    I...

Re: Saving data from the Fragment shader

Yes, thanks for the correction: vec4 is four 32-bit bytes. I meant writing out to a gl_FragColor to produce a texture map was only 4 bytes (RGBA).

I had a sense that I may need to create several...

    Pre-compiler fragment and vertex shaders

    Can shader languages be pre-compiled?
Or do fragment and vertex shaders have to be compiled at run-time only?

I am finding some real slow start-times when I use for-loops, so that is why I ask....

Saving data from the Fragment shader

I know we can use the fragment shader to render a texture map for a mesh later for an animated texture map (and the 'Learning WebGL", lesson 16 has a great example of that).

    But it seems like only...

Current state of WebGL support for XP

What is the current support for WebGL on Windows XP?
Do any of the browsers impliment it, and if so, what switches would I possibly need (to circumvent any restrictions)?
