    Re: Perspective correction on Mali

According to its name, glHint() does only give hint to the OpenGL ES implementation. Your implementation is free to ignore those hints.

    See manual ( http://www.khronos.org/opengles/sdk/1.1 ......
  2. Re: Response time, buffers and optimisation - please help

First: you don't give enough information about your target / environment / language / library / etc.,
Second: show us the code if you want us to comment/fix it.

    Regards.
  3. Re: how to initial openg es with mfc, thank you

You must have a call to glClear(GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT) and eglSwapBuffers() in the method/callback/msgproc which draws window content.

Re: Help on compiling gles-1.0c on Linux

I've made a patch on gles-1.0c to fix multiple problems in the package in order to build it on x86_64.

Re: Help on compiling gles-1.0c on Linux

There're multiple problem, and more since you're trying to build under a x86_64 (amd64) system.
Unfortunately, code and compilation options are not compatible with this kind of configuration: ...

    Re: Linking dynamically with libGLES_CM

    As reported here:

Instead of statically linked against libGLES*.lib, which can fail at runtime if the associated DLL is not here, I suggest to use a dynamic loader like the one used in San Angeles...
  8. Re: Somebody explain to me how OpenGL ES implementations work

Using Khronos OpenGL ES API Registry and Khronos API Implementers Guide, you should be able to build your own custom OpenGL ES for Windows Mobile SDK-like.

I've did it and documented on this...

    Re: glTexCoordPointer question

Texture bounds are usually 0.0 ... 1.0, even if it's not square.

If you go beyond those bounds, I think texture will wrap when using glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D, GL_TEXTURE_WRAP_{S,T},...

    Re: Linking dynamically with libGLES_CM

I've made a custom OpenGL ES 1.x SDK for Windows Mobile 6 (just a bunch of .lib plus headers from Khronos Group, not a big deal).

Link your program against the provided .lib and you will be able...

    Re: True color display problem.

You have a problem with either dithering (some implementation don't have dithering, BAD! ) or your texture are repeated. Fix your triangles and clamp texture.

    glTexParameteri(GL_TEXTURE_2D,...
