  2. Re: Shader problem - calculation problem with shader validat

    right.

    And the textur load function had to be the correct. I used a old Style one. I could not suggest that the SHADER validator needed the new version. There was a change. This was important too...

    stencil buffer and webgl?

    Hello again,

    did somebody tried to use the stencil function in webgl? I could not see a functionality.

    I enabled STENCIL_TEST and tried stencilFunc(NEVER), but it draws all triangles. (At first...

    no Editbutton?

    Using the build in function MIX to mix the texturcolor and black like 0.3 to 0.7 failed too.
    It is full black. I changed it to 0.7 (texturcolor) so there is a 100% texturcolor.

  6. Re: Maximum size for index buffer and how to go around it

    The inefficient way, travel throw the points and collect many "same triangle"-points. This would kill JavaScript :> Only some points had to copy to the next block. (It looks like N^(N-1) or so ...
  7. Re: Maximum size for index buffer and how to go around it

    Hello,

    I have the same problem.
    You have to adjust the index of block 2....n. UnsignedShort means 65.536 is the biggest index. If you want to call the vertex number 70.000. WebGL can only save...
  8. Shader problem - calculation problem with shader validator?

    Hello again,

    next problem. Firefox 4.0 Beta 2 (Laptop Intel IGP and PC GTX 260)

    I often took a value from a texture in the shader. I calculated something with it, all is fine. I switched the...

    Re: readPixels right with small accuracy?

    I paint on the surface. So it is easiest to me to draw the object one or three time to an texture/hidden framebuffer/array with objectcoords. On drawing it took the right surfacepoint from the buffer...

    readPixels right with small accuracy?

    Hello,

    is this correct? The best accuracy of readPixels in WebGL is GL_UNSIGNED_BYTE (8Bit for every color channel) ?

    Actually I use readPixels to get the surfacepoint of an object. I draw the...
  13. Re: readpixels problem with texturing/ texImage2D - not allowed.

    Okay, local stuff should be a security problem like other domains. So I need a local apache or so.

    I used "netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege("UniversalBrowserRead");" befor the...
  14. Re: readpixels problem with texturing/ texImage2D - not allowed.

    Mhh this sounds strange.

    gl.activeTexture(gl.TEXTURE0);
    OBJbuffer.texturenDaten1 = gl.createTexture();
    OBJbuffer.texturenImage1 = new Image();
    OBJbuffer.texturenImage1.src =...
  15. readpixels problem with texturing/ texImage2D - not allowed.

    Hello,

    I hope somebody can help me.

    I worked with readpixels and all was okay until I used texImage2D.
    If I use readpixels and texImage2D - readpixels create the not allowed Error.
