    some further researches

GL Renderbuffers are different from Framebuffers.
I also noticed that Renderbuffers are mentioned in the OpenCL 3.x Specification, but NOT in the 2.1 Specification.

    Shared Memory questions

    Hi,

I'm a bit confused about the shared memory in OpenCL.
It has 16 KBytes and shares data between kernels in the same work group.
So, are there several shared memories(for each work group) and...

    Working Linux OpenCL Driver

I tried to install both, the ATI and the Nvidia OpenCL-drivers on an intel-laptop with intel-onboard-graphics, but none worked, although they should.
Did someone try this with success?

Re: intel support for open cl

For the AMD-Driver every CPU supporting SSE3 is supported. You don't need a supported graphics card.
Didn't try that for the Nvidia-Driver but I think it is the same.

Re: Finding a general lib for OpenCL

I think the OpenCL Driver is vendor-specific cause, ATI and Nvidia Cards are different and can't use the same OpenCL-driver, so every vendor has to build drivers supporting OpenCL.
