Hi all

I am new to open ml and just digging throught the sdk. I am a bit confused about how to write a "Driver" for an openml device. I dont see anywhere how to register a device so it is seen by the capabilites tree system an to report what kind of jacks, paths etc the device provides?

Can someone point me in the right direction? Is there sample code for this?

Thanks a bunch!

There are a number of sample modules in the SDK distribution -- they are in:
oss/modules/...

There, you will find a sample transcoder module that works on all platforms ("nullXcode"), a WAVE audio module for windows, and an OSS audio and V4L (video-for-linux) module for linux.

There is no driver developper's guide or manual at this point, but all relevant functions are documented in man pages, which you will also find the in SDK distribution.
