Introduction
The Media Processing Division (MPD) in ARM has the mission to be at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP products for the consumer, wireless and automotive infotainment markets. The ARM® Mali™ GPU is the most widely licensed Open GL ES 2.0 GPU architecture and the family of products combine to provide the complete graphics stack for all embedded graphics needs, enabling device manufacturers and content developers to deliver the highest quality, cutting edge graphics solutions across the broadest range of consumer devices.


Job Purpose
Based in either Trondheim or Cambridge, this role encompasses assisting the product management of the Mali family of graphics processors.  Reporting into the Product Manager, this role will be providing technical support to customers and partners who represent the world’s leading companies in wireless and consumer technology.

The roles will involve providing technical pre-sales support to develop and win new licensing and design-in opportunities worldwide and include assisting with managing post-sales support to ensure the delivery of the best experience for our partners.


Key Responsibilities

Executing marketing requirements and working within roadmap and business plan.

Assisting in preparing and maintaining sales collateral

Contribute to the collection of market and product requirements and provide feed-back to engineering teams

Identify and exploit licensing and design win opportunities

Present and demonstrate technical details of ARM products and services to customers

Provide technical support in pre-sales opportunities

Provide appropriate product recommendations to meet customer requirements

Provide system design expertise and first pass architectural planning for products in early design stages


Job Requirements

Essential Skills and Experience

Strong technical background, ideally in graphics / multimedia processing

Team Player, contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Good presentation skills, able to clearly express technical concepts

Dynamic, self-starting individual with the ability to excite and instil confidence in customers about ARM and ARM’s technology

Ability to work in a multinational environment

Good at managing technical negotiations

Good organizational skills and strong team player

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels

Good commercial awareness with previous exposure to commercial negotiations

Excellent spoken and written English language skills and second language (French or German) would be desirable

Willingness to take ownership of a problem and obtain solutions

Good communicator, personable

Able to work and communicate at a detailed or a high level, as situation requires
