Introduction
The Media Processing Division (MPD) in ARM has the mission to be at the forefront of advanced multimedia IP products for the consumer, wireless and automotive infotainment markets. The ARM® Mali™ family of products combine to provide the complete graphics stack for all embedded graphics needs, enabling device manufacturers and content developers to deliver the highest quality, cutting edge graphics solutions across the broadest range of consumer devices.

Job Purpose
Based in either Trondheim or Cambridge, this role encompasses product management of one line of the Mali family of graphics processors with P&L responsibility for the products managed.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Developing, maintaining and seeking approval for marketing requirements, marketing plan, business plan, forecast and roadmap for managed products;

Leading a “virtual” product team, consisting of project managers, technical leads, engineering teams, marketing and other key stakeholders;

Preparing, maintaining and communicating all sales collateral including training material, customer and public presentations, white papers, benchmarking and competitive analysis;

Promoting products at key public events such as trade shows;

Ensuring cross-divisional support within ARM for roadmap;

Working with business development and sales managers to develop plans for key opportunities and assist to closure;

Working with engineering teams and project managers to move the product through the product lifecycle to meet specifications;

Understanding long-term industry drivers, their effects on our product roadmaps and develop marketing requirements for new products to strengthen/compliment the Mali product portfolio.

This role provides an opportunity to interact directly with the leading semiconductor manufacturers and some of the largest consumer electronics companies worldwide. The role will require frequent travel overseas

Job Requirements

Education & Qualifications

 

BSc/BEng degree in relevant subject

Expertise in graphics processing is highly desirable

Marketing qualification desirable

Strong technical background, particularly in graphics processing

Proven product management experience

Understanding of mobile market and value chain

Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
